Located at 4879 South Ave, Syracuse, NY 13215, Sardo's Pizza and Fish Fry operates as a pizza restaurant serving Syracuse in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (315) 492-7574. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, sardospizzafishfry.com.

Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Syracuse is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Classic pizza joint atmosphere. Smell of pizza in the air, and the pizza is delicious. I got 2 large slices of chicken bacon ranch, based on some other very positive reviews. And those reviews were right, it was crisp and flavorful. The slices were loaded with bacon and ranch, but chicken was a little lacking. Wonβt catch me complaining about too much bacon though! I also got a slice of lemon marscapone cheesecake. The lemon spoke to me on a hot 95 day like this one, but there are many other choices one could have. Only complaint is how small of a slice you get for $6, while the pizza slices felt like a steal for $2.50 each. Service was great and the guy that did mine was very friendly. I didnβt ask his name but it was a nice black dude that called me βbossβ. Made me feel like a regular even though it was my first trip! Thought Iβd get a fish sandwich but he unfortunately informed me it is only available thurs-sat. Iβll be back for that!

I ordered kinda late at my ght and while it was thru Uber the calzone was super burnt. Due to the time I could do nothing about it and UBER iwas super slow to respond. When I called today to order again cause this isn't always a problem but sometimes it is, I was told that they wouldn't honor my request for them to make another for me to replace as we ordered through UBER so basically it wasn't their problem. I said " But UBER didn't burn the calxine y'all did I have receipts, pics etc.' Dude told me that it's the owners policy to not fix things ordered through UBER even though UBER doesn't cook the food. This was clearly a SARDOS issue as it was super burnt but they didn't care

Food was extremely overcooked called the restaurant to ask to speak to a manager was told somebody would call me back. They never did. These were supposed to be chicken tenders. These look more like McNuggets to me very overcooked and not real chicken meat processed if anything.

I've been coming here for a couple decades and, bar-none, there is no better Sicilian, Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza on the planet! The counter guy today, seemed a bit... confused, but the pizza chef got the crust, toppings and flavor, spot-on!

Honestly I never write reviews but it just occurred to me that Iβve been ordering from Sardoβs almost monthly for like 4 yearsβ¦ Literally the best pizza around. The crust is actually flavorful, which is so different from every other place around here I feel like. I ordered the cheese garlic bread this time because I was feeling extra fat and let me tell ya, it doesnβt disappoint. Itβs indescribably delicious. 10/10, would recommend.
